As a return guest for National Public Radio's “The World,” RSC Director Richard Giragosian was interviewed by Daniel Orfman on 26 April assessing the latest escalation of tension along the Lachin Corridor, the sole route connecting Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia.

The Regional Studies Center (RSC) hosted an insightful discussion on 27 March with visiting Professor Cengiz Aktar as a special guest speaker, offering his insightful analysis of the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections in Turkey and providing a comprehensive overview of the longer history of Armenia-Turkey relations since Armenian independence, as well as addressing the specific role of Azerbaijan in the process.

In the first reporting from Armenia since the 2020 war, After the Karabakh War in 2020, CNN TÜRK senior news correspondent Serdar Korucu and Chief Cameraman Ahmet Akpolat interviewed RSC Director Richard Giragosian on the current status of diplomatic engagement and outlook for Armenia-Turkey “normalization” process.  The interview with Giragosian focused on a wide range of issues well beyond Armenia-Turkey “normalization” to include wider regional developments from the perspective of Armenia's national interests.

In an article by Şerban Mihăilă published by the prominent media outlet Jurnalul in Romania, RSC Director Richard Giragosian offered his analysis of the Russian position in the South Caucasus in the wake of Russia’s failed invasion of Ukraine.  The article, entitled “Former Soviet allies are turning their guns on Russia,” noted that “Russia's war in Ukraine has backfired on Moscow in several ways.”
